Job Summary

Description

We are looking to add a Group Leader to our warehouse. The Group Leader assists in the development training evaluation and work schedules.. This role also provides support to the shift or department supervisor in achieving daily and monthly goals in safety quality accuracy and production. The Group Leader will be responsible for expediting work orders through the manufacturing process accurate production reporting and maximizing resources while reducing scrap/rework. We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong prioritization and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist warehouse manager and supervisor with leading daily warehouse operations including receiving put-away replenishment picking packing and shipping activities.
  • Motivate warehouse associates to achieve safety quality productivity and attendance expectations.
  • Work with warehouse manager and supervisor to monitor workflow KPIs (key performance indicators) and staffing throughout the shift to ensure operational goals and deadlines are met.
  • Ensure that all orders are processed accurately and shipped on time while meeting customer and company standards.
  • Partner with transportation inventory control customer service and other departments to resolve operational issues quickly and effectively.
  • Promote and enforce all safety policies procedures and equipment standards.
  • Conduct daily team huddles communicate priorities and provide real-time feedback and support to associates.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements that increase efficiency reduce errors and improve overall warehouse performance.
  • Support training and onboarding of new team members while helping build a positive and accountable team culture.
  • Assist with problem-solving and decision-making during operational challenges and high-volume periods.
  • Support final mile load-out operations and ensure shipment readiness.
  • Act on behalf of the supervisor during absence.
  • Act as First Responder during Plant emergencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Desired Experience

  • Basic computer skills MS Word and MS Excel
  • Bilingual (Spanish-English)
  • Ability to interact in a positive manner with team members to achieve goals

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Basic ability to troubleshooting production/personnel issues
  • Minimum 2-5 years experience in manufacturing / production environment
  • 1st Aid/CPR Training and Emergency Response Training
  • Basic Excel and Group Wise training
  • Continuous Improvement training
  • On the job training to enhance safety productivity and troubleshooting skills

Pay Range: $25-28/hr
