Warehouse Expeditor

The Opportunity:
Currently seeking a Material Delivery Expeditor. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic growing cross-functional and geographically distributed team responsible for supporting daily Supply Chain functions. This position is located on-site at our Melbourne Florida office.

Responsibilities:
Supports and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes.
Primarily responsible for the manual movement monitoring and delivery of materials between warehouse facilities and support Manufacturing Orders released by Production / Material Planners via company vehicles.
Assist shipping and receiving team with the receipt of inbound material.
Delivers received materials to respective areas for proper storage.
Assist in the loading and unloading of truckload shipments.
Assembles orders checks against customer orders and reports incomplete orders.
Read and follow work orders and verbal instructions to ascertain material items to be moved
Load unload and move materials within or near warehouse stockroom storage facility or manufacturing floor.
Load and unload materials onto or from pallets trays racks and shelves by hand pallet jack or forklift.
Provide materials to and from inventory location or worksites to designated areas to include the manufacturing floor by use of hand truck electric dolly Forklift or other tools as necessary.
Able to lift 50 pounds use rolling ladder going up to 12 feet and reach for items on shelves
Able to spend considerable time standing bending and walking to and from the warehouse and other areas / buildings
Ability to prioritize and multitask daily workload.
Ability to drive company van manual transmission box truck.
Operates pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment in a safe manner
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook etc.)
Assist in packaging assembling wood crating and loading large shipments.

Qualifications:

Required:
US citizenship due to contract requirements and nature of the work
Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance due to the nature of the work and contract requirements
High school diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years experience in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process
Forklift/reach truck experience
Valid Drivers License required
Ability to drive manual transmission 26ft box truck

Desired:
Experience working in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractor
Active SECRET security clearance
Experience using Costpoint
Class A CDL
Ability to prioritize and multitask daily work
Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Outlook etc.)
