Warehouse Distribution Associate II 1st Shift

We are seeking a Warehouse Distribution Associate II to join our team on the 1st shift. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in shipping receiving and general warehouse operations within a global manufacturing environment.

In this position you will perform essential warehouse distribution duties including receiving verifying packing and shipping materials and products. You will work under general supervision to ensure smooth and accurate warehouse operations in a fast-paced setting.

Job Details

• LOCATION: Orlando FL 32824
• POSITION: Contract
• PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
• HOURS: 5:00am to 1:30pm

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical tasks related to shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products.
• Receive goods verify items against shipment records and inspect their condition.
• Gather verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.
• Operate powered equipment such as forklifts as needed.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in picking packing shipping and receiving.
• Ability to operate forklifts; standup forklift experience preferred.
• Proficiency with RF scanners.
• Must wear steel toe boots.
• Successful completion of drug test and background check.
• Basic reading writing and numerical skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.
