Job Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the activities of the warehouse. This role will oversee that all products and materials are properly stored organized and accounted addition tool tracking job site delivery coordination vehicle fleet management and facilities coordination.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Coordinate materials receiving warehousing and distribution to field personnel.
Verify material receipt against receiving documents noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damage and routing to the prescribed storage location.
Operate forklift pallet jack and other warehouse equipment to store stack or palletize materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
Coordinate job site deliveries of material and equipment as requested by field personnel including communication with assigned Delivery Drivers
Maintain physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts inspecting equipment issuing work orders for equipment repair or replacement and ensuring overall cleanliness of warehouse side yard and loading dock areas.
Maintain established inventory levels of stocked items (refrigerant air filters job site cleaning supplies etc.) by regularly checking shelves and ordering when needed.
Address and proper disposition materials/parts returned under warranty.
Maintain hazardous waste storage program including cleanliness of oil/liquid recovery area keeping records up-to-date and ensuring required inspections are completed on time.
Manage fleet vehicle program including program administration field personnel support and coordination with Branch management for vehicle ordering/replacements.
Manage shared tool program including proper check-in/out of tools by field personnel repair/replacement storage and field coordination/delivery (for larger tools)
Assist with general office repairs and upkeep.
Participate in Branch Safety Committee as the Warehouse representative.

Qualifications

High School Diploma preferred or equivalent experience.
3 years of experience working in a warehouse environment.
Possess a background in mechanical/HVAC electrical or other construction trades preferred.
Forklift certification or be able to obtain certification quickly.
Knowledge of computer software applications such as Microsoft Products - Outlook Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and excellent teamwork skills.
Self-starter who can prioritize tasks and work independently.
Must have the ability to have a flexible work schedule; There are intermittent demands for supporting after-hours and weekend work.
Capable of communicating effectively with others both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to sit stand and walk for long periods of time and must be able to push/pull stoop bend kneel crouch reach and crawl frequently.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Valid drivers license required.
