Warehouse Coordinator II

Commscope are hiring aWarehouse Coordinator II to join our Global Manufacturing & Operations team inSanta Ana CA. This role will report into the Operations Manager but you will have direct daily contact with multiple teams across the facility.

We are seeking an organised and proactive Warehouse Coordinator II to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting warehouse management material movements stocking and transfer. You will have a good understanding of logistics receiving and shipping as well as warehouse inventory and maintenance. Loading and unloading trucks and/or trailers is also important part of this role.

Your ability to build constructive relationships with several supplying parties and communicate in an effective way will be key to thrive in the role.

Role & Responsibilities

• Unload shipments inspect contents for damage and verify accuracy against invoices or order forms.
• Process material from receiving into stock.
• Responsible for the timeliness of order picking and fulfillment to support the production process by guaranteeing that all production orders are pulled identified and transferred in a timely and accurate manner.
• Supplies production lines and/or kanban location safely operating with warehouse equipment such as forklifts pallet jacks and/or pallet truck.
• Determine optimum load configuration of both warehouse storage locations and trucks taking into consideration such factors as weight dimensions center of gravity and sequence of deliveries.
• Enter material transactions for work order issues.
• Ensure the accurate entry of all inventory-related transactions in SAP to support the production process. Includes records of materials issued/receive.
• Prepare goods for shipment including palletizing wrapping and identification labels in accordance with specifications and customer or shipper requirements.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety: Keeping the warehouse clean and organized ensures a safe working environment.

You Will Excite Us If You Have

• Professional qualification or equivalent experience requires 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role and manufacturing environment.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet warehouse objectives and maintain operational efficiency.
• Must be able to operate or learn to operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Time management and schedule respect.
• PC skills good skills in database systems and Excel.
• Preferred knowledge of SAP system.
• Preferred forklift driving license.
