Job Summary

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM; ability to work weekends holidays and overtime as needed.

Rate: $23/ hour

SUMMARY

The Warehouse Auditor is responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy process compliance and adherence to company standards throughout warehouse operations. This role conducts routine audits of inventory shipping receiving product rotation and warehouse procedures to identify discrepancies minimize losses and improve operational efficiency. The Warehouse Auditor works closely with warehouse leadership and team members to verify inventory integrity investigate variances maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement initiatives. This position plays a critical role in maintaining food safety quality standards and operational excellence while ensuring compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Audit all inbound and outbound loads to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Audit shipping receiving storage and order fulfillment processes for compliance with SOPs
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies and identify root causes of variances.
  • Verify product rotation date code management and adherence to food safety requirements.
  • Review warehouse documentation reports and transactions for accuracy.
  • Monitor compliance with safety regulations company policies and operational procedures.
  • Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to warehouse management.
  • Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to reduce errors and inventory loss.
  • Assist with annual physical inventories and special audit projects as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of all audit records and findings.
  • Responsible for proper outbound loads and staging of product
  • Responsible for ensuring training and coaching of Shipping/Receiving Associates
  • Loads and unloads product in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Responsible for the accurate loading of all palletized orders.
  • Receives incoming products and stock into designated areas.
  • Cleans up all debris and hoses down area immediately after any spills.
  • Notifies shift supervisor immediately of any breakdowns or any mixed products.
  • Sets aside mistake products for inventory and re-stocking.
  • Maintains appropriate records and reports to ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Lift and stack boxes of products in cooler.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma General Education Degree (GED) or International Education Equivalent
  • Forklift Operator Certification
  • Previous warehouse inventory control auditing or logistics experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Ability to investigate issues identify trends and provide recommendations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must be able to reach bend extend and lift 50-60 pounds.

  • The work environment may require working in the cooler room with varying degrees of temperature and may include contact with water or dairy liquids.
  • Exposed to a noise level of 90 decibels. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate/high. Wet/slippery work conditions.
  • While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts and equipment.
  • The warehouse area is maintained at cooler temps 34-38 degrees.
