Warehouse Attendant

Hours: 1st shift : 7am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday

Pay: $20/hr

SUMMARY:

Stock finished goods and moves materials within the facility.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Work in warehouse area stocking finished goods.
2. Move items into storage and stock.
3. Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
4. Records and maintains necessary information for inventory.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Follows current safety policies and procedures and maintains safe work environment.
2. Clean and maintain work area.
3. Because of the changing nature of our business this job description will inevitably change. The employee will from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within his/her capabilities as directed by management.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School degree or GED preferred
2. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently during shift
3. Prior shipping/warehouse/material handling experience preferred
4. Excellent interpersonal organizational and communication skills
5. Attention to detail reliability punctuality and adaptability
6. Able to be on your feet most of the day
7. Forklift experience preferred but not required
8. Electric Case Picker experience preferred
9. Frequently required to climb ladders stoop kneel and stand for long periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Working conditions are a warehouse with a cement floor. Facility is temperature controlled. Frequently climbing ladders using Will require frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
