Position Summary:
A Warehouse Associate involved receiving storing and shipping products which includes tasks like unloading trucks stocking shelves picking and packing orders and maintaining inventory records. Responsibilities also include operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks ensuring a clean and safe work environment and complying with all safety regulations.
Primary Responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving
Receiving and processing: Unloading shipments inspecting for damage or discrepancies and logging incoming stock.
Stocking and organization: Putting received goods into their proper storage locations organizing shelves and keeping the warehouse tidy.
Order fulfillment: Picking items from storage packing them for shipment and labeling orders.
Inventory management: Conducting regular counts maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies.
Shipping: Loading finished orders onto trucks and preparing necessary documentation.
RECEIVING: Verify received goods against packing slips and purchase orders.
General Warehouse Duties
Warehouse maintenance: Keeping the entire facility clean and organized to prevent hazards.
Teamwork: Collaborating with other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity goals.
Problem-solving: Handling customer inquiries or other issues that may arise.
Inventory management: Conducting regular counts maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting discrepancies.
Safety standards: Adhering to all safety and regulatory standards including proper use of equipment and handling of materials.
Physical requirements: Lifting 50lbs or less occasionally
Skills and Attributes:
Strong attention to detail and reliability in completing tasks.
Ability to work efficiently and cooperatively in a team environment.
Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask when needed.
Willingness to learn and assist in various aspects of warehouse and assembly operations.
Basic computer skills for data entry and order tracking.
Work Environment:
This role operates in the warehouse. The tasks are straightforward and manageable focusing on accuracy consistency and teamwork. Training and guidance are provided to ensure all duties are performed safely and confidently.
