Volt is immediately hiring Warehouse Associate in La Porte Texas

As a Warehouse Associate you will:

• Be comfortable with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.
• Be comfortable with receiving verifying staging and stocking incoming materials.
• Be comfortable with loading trucks with pipe fittings and materials (primary function of role).
• Be comfortable with banding palletizing and organizing pipe and fittings for shipment.
• Be comfortable with safely handling oversized and irregular bore plastic pipe palletized fittings and spools.
• Be comfortable with maintaining a clean organized secure and safe warehouse environment.
• Be comfortable with performing shipping and receiving duties including staging materials.

This is a full time Contract opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum 1-year recent sitdown forklift experience.
• Safely handle large awkward or oversized materials.
• Steeltoed boots for safety compliance.
• Forklift operator certification/experience with adapting to specialized equipment.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

• Background in warehouse operations (shipping receiving delivery inventory).
• Combilift experience (preferred but not required).
• Product knowledge or ability to quickly learn pipe/fittings handling.
• Knowledge of safe work practices in a pipe yard.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidates education work experience work location specific job duties certifications etc.
