Warehouse & Asset Recovery Associate Chicago IL
Pay Range: $22.00 $25.00 per hour Full-Time
About the Role
Join Legacy Transportations Chicago operations team as a Warehouse & Asset Recovery Associate! This hands-on position supports warehouse operations equipment recovery and recycling initiatives. The ideal candidate enjoys working with tools has mechanical aptitude and takes pride in maintaining a safe organized and productive work environment.
What Youll Do
Disassemble medical equipment using hand and power tools to recover reusable components and recyclable materials.
Sort organize and prepare materials for recycling storage or shipment.
Inspect clean organize and maintain shipping fixtures.
Assist with shipping receiving inventory control and material staging activities.
Load and unload trailers using forklifts and material handling equipment.
Follow established safety procedures safety protocols and equipment handling requirements.
. Operate radiation detection equipment.

Salary Description
$22.00 $25.00 per hour
What Were Looking For
Previous warehouse manufacturing production or recycling or related experience preferred.
Forklift experience and ability to be forklift certified required.
Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to follow written instructions and established procedures.
Basic computer and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
