Shift Description: 6:30 am - 3:00 pm HR: Hunter Pagel/Lili Alamo/Yasin Farah

Pay Range: 30.75-43.25/hr based on job-related knowledge skill set level of experience

Job RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Engineering Technician works closely with all plant engineering personnel in support of improved equipment and process reliability as well as efficient and cost-effective use of plant resources.
2. Engineering Technician effectively plans jobs across a wide array of equipment. This requires basic mechanical knowledge plus working with area craftsmen and storeroom personnel to effectively coordinate plan and schedule the jobs to a high percent completion rate.
3. Leads daily planning/scheduling meetings designed to orchestrate coordination with operations and maintenance to complete backlogged work with the effective utilization of plant resources.
4. Effectively manages large backlog of work and be able to set priorities in planning process.
5. Conducts frequent audits on processing equipment assessing the operating condition and reviewing the reliability program for these assets
6. Provides input to address equipment obsolescence and replacement and interface with equipment manufacturers.

Required QUALIFICATIONS:

1. A strong pattern of initiative 2.Demonstrated leadership skills.
2. Good problem-solving decision making and project management skills
3. Ability to climb ladders lift to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces.
4. The ability to learn and effectively use various software programs including Microsoft Office AutoCAD the companys EAMs system (Work Order System) and Microsoft Outlook (Email)

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Minimum two-year degree in Engineering Technology and/or minimum of four years of work experience as an Engineering Technician and/or minimum of 5 years work experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic or Electrician.
2. Ability to use measurement equipment (calipers flowmeters etc.).
3. Ability to use advanced condition monitoring equipment (vibration analyzer infrared camera etc.) in an industrial environment.
4. A solid background in mechanical and electrical systems as well as training in maintenance reliability theory.
5. Demonstrated proficiency with various software programs including Microsoft Office AutoCAD the companys EAM system and Microsoft Outlook
