Wallet Technical Fraud Analyst Manager Strategic Data Solutions

The Strategic Data Solutions (SDS) team is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Analytics Manager to lead a team focused on combating fraud waste and abuse in our fast-paced Wallet Payments and Commerce environment. This role will be responsible for guiding a team of Technical Fraud Analysts in developing and implementing analytical/tactical solutions to detect prevent and mitigate fraudulent activities across multiple a Wallet TFA Manager you will be responsible for fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making developing career paths and skills within the team developing strong relationships across the organization and driving continuous improvement in our fraud prevention strategies. You navigate ambiguity and uncertainty comfortably making decisions based on information that may be incomplete at times and demonstrating an uncanny sense of when to hold course vs shift directions for the this role youll combine technical/analytical knowledge and fraud mitigation skills within the Wallet business to help the team approach fraud mitigation in a new and exciting way that enables us to scale with success.

Leads team in the development of analytical tools and automations to support functional needs.n Collaborate with and support the team to innovate encouraging experimentation and growthn Mentor the team to develop their technical and professional skillsets considering both the individuals wants and business needs n Drive personal innovation projects to improve the teams and/or programs efficiencyn Functionally manage TFA workn Develop and implement TFA KPIs and drive prioritization ensuring metrics are in line with program targetsn Project Manage team initiatives as neededn Engage with internal and external partners to understand program needs and create solutions on combined challenges

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Statistics Applied Math Engineering a related field or relevant experiencen7 years of hands-on experience in data science analytics engineering or similar technical analytics rolesn2 years of experience leading and mentoring data-focused teamsnProficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g. Python R)nPassion for fostering inclusive team environments and valuing diverse perspectivesnStrong analytical background in applying data science techniques such as experimental design and statistical analysis to extract insights and answer real-world questionsnExperience working with large-scale data pipelines and conducting data analysis in production-level analytics platformsnProven ability to drive measurable business impact through data and automationnAbility to connect insights to business outcomes and influence strategy

Expertise in data storytelling and creating stakeholder-ready visualizations and narrativesnAbility to perform in both strategic and tactical situations and shift between them as defined by the needs of the rolenFamiliarity with modern data platforms (e.g. Spark Snowflake Airflow) and ML ops toolingnClear communicator who can translate complex technical concepts into actionable business language
