Job Summary:
CACI isseeking a skilled and experiencedVTC Engineer (Level 3)to join our dynamic teamto support a DoD client in Suitland MD.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in video telecommunications engineering project management and digital A/V systems. This role requires an individual who is comfortable in high-visibility customer-facing environments and has a proventrack recordof managing VTC infrastructure lifecycles.
Responsibilities:
Subject Matter Expertise:
Serve as a subject matter expert for AV/VTC systems offering guidance on best practices and emerging technologies to team members.
Team Leadership:
Responsible for leading a team of technicians and engineers to installmaintain and troubleshoot a wide variety of VTC equipment including cameras microphones video displays speakers audio mixers DVD players video matrix switches wires and cables.
Project Management:
Conduct site surveys to design and install A/V systems based on customer requirements.
Conduct routine operational tests and fault isolation on AV/VTC systems and equipment.
Perform regular preventative maintenance inspections of AV/VTC equipment.
User Training:
Empower users with knowledge and training on control interfaces and use of the audio/visual and VTC equipment.
System Improvement:
Develop plans for re-engineering and replacing legacy systems to improve customer productivity enhance maintainability and reduce costs.
Qualifications:
Education and/or Experience:
Education:Bachelors degree in a STEM field.
Experience:
8-10 years of comprehensive experience with VTC A/V (Audio & Video) systems.
Alternatively 12 years of experience with at least 3 years as a lead.
At least 5 years of project management experience.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with AMX series equipment including the ability to configure and program.
Understanding of the Department of Defense (DoD) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) VTC system requirements.
Clearance:Must have an active Top Secret clearance with SCI (Sensitive Compartmented Information) eligibility to be considered.
Customer Interaction:
Must be comfortable in high visibility and customer-facing environments.
Demonstrate strong communications and multitasking skills.
Provide excellent customer service.
Travel:
Ability to travel within the National Capital Region (NCR) in support of UC operations.
Physical Requirements:
Must be physically able to lift 50lbs crawl and walk long distances.
Technical Proficiency:
Proficient in Microsoft Visio and Office applications (e.g. Word PowerPoint Excel Access and Outlook).

Security CE certified
CTS CTS-D and/or CTS-I certified
CAPM certified

Pay Range:
