Position Overview

A growing healthcare organization with hundreds of employees is seeking a visionary Vice President of Human Resources to lead and elevate the entire HR function during a period of significant growth and expansion.

This role goes far beyond traditional HR management. The VP of HR will serve as a strategic business partner responsible for organizational development workforce planning talent acquisition employee engagement leadership coaching and building the infrastructure needed to support the organizations long-term growth objectives.

The ideal candidate is a people-focused leader with strong business acumen a passion for culture-building and the ability to develop scalable systems that attract retain and develop top talent across clinical administrative and leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term workforce strategies

  • Design organizational structures reporting relationships and succession planning initiatives

  • Lead workforce planning efforts to support continued organizational growth

  • Develop talent management and leadership development programs

  • Utilize workforce analytics and HR metrics to drive strategic decision-making

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment Strategy

  • Oversee and enhance recruiting efforts across all levels of the organization

  • Develop scalable recruitment strategies for physicians clinical staff administrative teams and leadership roles

  • Build recruiting pipelines partnerships and sourcing strategies to improve hiring outcomes

  • Improve employer branding and positioning within the healthcare and professional communities

  • Establish systems and processes to improve recruiting efficiency and retention

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Create and implement initiatives that strengthen employee engagement and organizational culture

  • Develop programs that foster connection recognition and employee satisfaction

  • Build onboarding and integration programs that create a consistent employee experience

  • Partner with managers and department leaders to improve team engagement and performance

  • Promote a people-first culture focused on growth development and retention

HR Operations & Performance Management

  • Oversee performance management programs goal setting and employee development initiatives

  • Guide compensation strategy benefits administration and workforce planning

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws HR policies and regulatory requirements

  • Lead HR system optimization reporting and process improvement efforts

  • Provide coaching and support to leaders throughout the organization

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor the HR team across recruiting employee relations engagement training and HR operations

  • Establish clear goals accountability measures and professional development opportunities

  • Build a high-performing HR function capable of supporting continued organizational growth

Qualifications

  • 7 years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience

  • Experience leading HR strategy for organizations with 300 employees preferred

  • Strong background in organizational development talent acquisition employee engagement and workforce planning

  • Demonstrated success building or transforming HR functions and processes

  • Experience partnering directly with executive leadership teams

  • Strong analytical communication and leadership skills

  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred

  • Passion for culture-building employee development and organizational growth
