Job Summary
Chelan High School has an opening for a Volleyball Head C-team and Varsity Assistant Coach starting the 2026-2027 season. We are seeking a passionate coach committed to enhancing educational opportunities for students through athletics while promoting the Chelan Athletic Department core values: Motivated Open Minded Respectful and Engaged. Salary range is $4452 - $5368 based on prior documented school district experience in the same sport.
Qualifications to Include
Ø Prior coaching and/or playing experience in the sport.
Ø Proven ability to coach at the high school level.
Ø Willingness to work with staff.
Ø Valid first aid and CPR card or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
Ø FBI Washington State Patrol and Sexual Misconduct background clearance.
Overview of Coaching Staff Expectations
Ø Responsible for assisting in a program that is organized well prepared and operated with integrity. Coaches should use athletics to teach valuable life skills and provide an exceptional educational experience for the student-athletes.
Ø Develop and maintain positive relationships with the student-athletes. Strive to be a quality role model that the student-athletes feel comfortable going to for mentorship always putting student-athletes needs at the forefront and vigorously working to serve their needs.
Ø Commitment to promoting the vision values and mission of the school district and athletic department.
