A vacancy currently exists for a Vocational Support Specialist within the Division of Career Technical & Customized Education Services at the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This position will be based at the Technical College High School Pickering campus located in Phoenixville PA.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required
• Experience working with secondary students preferred
• Experience in Career & Technical Education preferred
• MVR check and approval to drive school vans based on school policies
• Current police child abuse & FBI Fingerprint clearances required
• Clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and the federal government (conducted by the CCIU upon hire)

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage work-based learning opportunities including internships job shadows and field trips.
• Plan support career-related field trips and guest speakers.
• Maintain accurate data and documentation for student experiences.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding WBL expectations and opportunities
• Coordinate and deliver classroom instructionpertinent to career and technical skills in conjunction with classroom teachers.

Salary Range:
$62046 - $77557 - Project - Band 13 (2026 - 2027 School Year Rate)

* Placement on band based on experience in an equivalent role.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7.5 hours/day 10-months
