VMwareBroadcom Administrator Level 3

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a skilled and experienced VMware/Broadcom Administrator (Level 3) to join our dynamic team to support a DoD client in Suitland MD. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of VMware products and solutions with a strong focus on VMware vSphere virtual machines networking and storage. This role requires TS/SCI clearance and the ability to work in a secure environment.

Responsibilities:

• VMware Administration: Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments including virtual machines networking and storage solutions.

• System Optimization: Ensure optimal performance and availability of VMware infrastructure through proactive monitoring troubleshooting and optimization.

• Deployment and Configuration: Deploy configure and maintain VMware products and solutions in alignment with organizational standards and best practices.

• Security Compliance: Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect VMware environments ensuring compliance with TS/SCI clearance requirements.

• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for VMware configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to integrate VMware solutions with broader IT infrastructure and applications.

• Training and Support: Provide guidance and support to junior administrators and end-users on VMware-related issues.

• Project Participation: Contribute to projects involving VMware infrastructure upgrades migrations and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field. Alternatively 7 years of relevant experience with VMware Certification may be considered in lieu of a degree.

• Demonstrated expert knowledge of VMware products particularly VMware vSphere solutions including virtual machines networking and storage.

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

• Windows OS Certificate

• TS/SCI Clearance
