Type of Position: Long Term Sub (Maternity Leave) Visual Arts Teacher 9/28-12/23/26

Location: Ottoson Middle School Arlington MA

POSITION GOALS: We are looking for an innovative visual arts educator who can inspire students to become life-long learners and creative risk-takers and provide students with the technical skills and Studio Habits of Mind they need to realize their own creative vision.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Teach seventh and eighth grade visual arts courses following curricula that focus on drawing painting sculpture printmaking and mixed media. Classes are taught five periods a day Monday-Friday.

Qualifications: (preferred) Licensed in Visual Arts

Reports To: Director of Visual Arts K-12 and Ottoson Middle School Principal
