Position Summary
Housed in the School of Communication at the University of Central Arkansas the First-Year Writing ( FYW ) and Writing Rhetoric and Information Design ( WRID ) programs seek candidates for a 9-month Visiting Assistant Professor position combining FYW and WRID beginning August 16 2026. This non-tenure-track position consists of a one-year appointment with the potential for renewal. The visiting faculty member will be responsible for teaching research and service. The position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policies.
