Client: Wiconsin Department of Corrections (DOC)

Location: Hybrid in Madison WI Candidate MUST be a WI resident within a one-hour commute to Madison WI

Duration: 1 year

Visa: No H1B/CPT/OPT

MOI: Web-based with Camera On

Description:

Our client is looking for a Video Surveillance/Cisco Technician to be responsible for facilities-based systems including but not limited to surveillance door control building automation and telecommunication.

Tasks

This work includes all aspects of design planning installation and support of the aforementioned systems including supporting desktop PCs servers network devices storage solutions and surveillance-specific equipment.
Install configure maintain and monitor multiple state-wide networks we filtering with Palo Altos and Zscaler as well as mitigating issues as they arise. Responsible for extensive system documentation creation and updates.
Provides documentation/project tracking and management reporting.
Provides tactical and strategic input on overall systems planning and related projects. Surveillance network and server support capabilities with 10 or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Work is performed at the agencys nearly 200 locations state-wide including the agencys many secure sites often independently. Delegation and improvisational skills creativity adaptability and strong troubleshooting skills required.
