Vice President Technology Auditor Cybersecurity

Locations: New York NY or Lake Mary FL
Compensation: Approximately $100/hr W2 (flexible depending on experience)
Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

BNY is seeking experienced Cybersecurity Technology Auditors to join its Internal Audit organization supporting enterprise cybersecurity and technology risk initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work within a highly visible global audit function focused on emerging cyber risks cloud technologies infrastructure security and regulatory compliance.

This position is ideal for professionals with strong IT audit cyber risk or information security governance backgrounds within financial services or consulting environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Audit cybersecurity policies procedures and technical controls
Conduct application network and operating system security assessments
Assess vulnerability management incident response and security monitoring programs
Review cloud computing and AI-related technology risks
Analyze logs and identify suspicious or anomalous activity
Evaluate cybersecurity tools including Splunk CyberArk PowerBroker and related technologies
Support investigations related to cybersecurity incidents
Assess compliance with NIST ISO 27001 FFIEC and related frameworks
Collaborate with cross-functional technology and audit teams

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Cybersecurity MIS Accounting or related field
5 10 years of IT audit cybersecurity or technology risk experience
Strong understanding of cybersecurity controls and governance
Experience with audit methodology risk assessments and control testing
Strong analytical communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Financial services or banking industry experience
CISA CISSP CISM or related certifications
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as Python Java Go C# Ruby or Perl
Experience with cloud security and AI technologies
