What youll do in the role:

Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. is seeking a Vice President Lead Software Engineer in Alpharetta GA to work with product owners to understand the requirements decompose work plan and prioritize software deliverables. Implement software application engineering methodologies processes and practices to business requirements including information security data privacy code maintainability and reliability. Work with cross functional senior leaders to report progress and for escalation and conflict management. Perform reviews and provide constructive feedback to squad members. Research new software technologies and development tools to keep pace with industry advancements. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What youll bring to the role:

-Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering Information Technology or a related field of study

-Requires five (5) years of experience in the position offered or five (5) years as a Programmer Analyst Applications Developer Software Engineer or a closely related occupation

-Requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills:

• Java Junit J2EE Spring Spring Boot and Hibernate;
• Docker and Kubernetes;
• REST Services;
• OAuth2;
• AngularJS;
• Redis;
• IBM DB2;
• Cloud technologies including AWS Cloud and Private Cloud;
• microservices architecture; and
• Banking and Financial domain.

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $197000 and $197000 per year at the commencement of employment. However base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package which depending on the position may also include commission earnings incentive compensation discretionary bonuses other short and long-term incentive packages and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
