Responsibilities

• Estimate the work necessary to realize a story or requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

• Perform spike or proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

• Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement or story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

• Utilize multiple architectural components (across data application business) to design and develop client requirements.

• Contribute to story refinement and define requirements.

• Resolve technical complexities involved in realizing story work.

• Participate in estimating the work necessary to realize a story or requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

• Design develop and modify architecture.

• Design and develop production-ready software for data warehousing solutions using Hadoop Teradata Oracle SAS Java Informatica and CI/CD deployment.

• Utilize Linux code debug and use scheduling tools like Autosys.

• Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with Apache Spark SAS Informatica and Teradata Cloud.

• Develop complex Teradata SQL-based ETL and analytic workflows using native utilities including BTEQ TPT and FastExport.

• Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Computer Information Systems Management Information Systems Engineering (any) or related: and

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

• Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Designing and developing solution architectures to scale backend systems using Python Java Spring Boot and rest specifications;

• Utilizing full stack engineering Linux coding and debugging;

• Designing and developing production ready software using web cloud and distributed technologies such as Apache Spark Hadoop Microservices and CI/CD cloud deployment; and

• Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets with cutting edge technologies such as Elasticsearch Redis and Kafka.
