Here is What Your day May Consist of:
- Intravenous catheter placement and venipuncture
- Administer drugs (IV SQ Oral)
- Perform radiographs
- Assisting doctors with patient care including obtaining blood and laboratory samples patient restraint and client education and communication
- Provide care to hospitalized patients and discharging patients after care is complete
- Conducting dental prophylaxis and dental radiographs
- Surgical preparation monitoring assisting and recovering patients
- Collaborating in a team environment
Here is What You Will Bring to the Position:
- Two years of previous veterinary technician experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience assisting in surgery
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- 1 weekend day required ($2 shift differential)
