Mill Pond Veterinary Hospital is looking for a dependable Veterinary Technician to join our established small animal practice. We believe in utilizing our technicians to the fullest encouraging continued learning and creating a workplace where collaboration and respect come first.
As an important member of our clinical team youll help deliver outstanding medical care by:
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations treatments and procedures
- Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring anesthesia throughout procedures
- Recovering surgical patients and providing attentive post-operative care
- Performing venipuncture IV catheter placement laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostics
- Assisting with radiology and other diagnostic procedures
- Monitoring hospitalized patients and documenting medical records accurately
- Educating pet owners on medications home care and preventive medicine
- Supporting daily treatment room operations while working closely with the veterinary team
Were interested in candidates who have:
- CVT credential preferred; experienced veterinary technicians are welcome to apply
- At least two years of experience in a veterinary hospital
- Confidence with anesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Strong patient handling and nursing skills
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- A positive team-oriented attitude and commitment to compassionate care
