We are looking for:Rehabilitation VeterinaryTherapist
The Rehabilitation department focuses on providing the most advanced therapeutic care while working with the client referral partner and otherMedVetspecialists through all stages of the patients treatment.
In ourstate-of-the-artfacilities we offer advanced care and procedures from a team who is passionate about working at the forefront ofrehabilitationtherapy and technology. The candidate should be enthusiastic to work with patients that have varying degrees of mobility issues including orthopedic conditions neurologic disease those needing geriatric support and end of life care.
The Rehabilitation department focuses on improving strength and function by combining physical therapeutic exercise with modalities like hydrotherapy cold laser therapy shockwavetherapyand more. This team is perfect for someone who enjoys preserving the human animalbond andpartnering with clients to help their pet feel their best.
Whatyoulldo:
  • Perform patient therapies using multiple modalities including underwater treadmill laser therapylandtherapyandAssisi loop
  • Prioritize caseload and patient care prepare and review charts forappropriate paperwork as well as ensureaccuratedocumentation
  • Restrain andassistwith examinations and therapies
  • Prepare prescriptions fitharnessesand provide needed information for clients
  • Discuss rehab therapy and recommendations as well as address client questions and concerns
Who you are:
  • Dog training background preferredpreviousrehabilitation experience desired
  • Flexibility with work hours and able to workadditionalhours when necessary
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentmaintainingattention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Delegates team responsibilities asappropriate toteam members (rounding casesplanningand managing diagnostic scheduling and information etc.)
  • May act as a mentor or trainer for team members
