Veterinary Practice Manager

North Boston Animal Hospital is opening in October 2026 and were looking for a full-time Practice Manager to help lead the launch of our brand-new general practice and urgent care hospital.

This is a unique opportunity to build a team shape the culture and establish the systems that will define the hospital from day one. Youll lead veterinarians technicians and support staff while overseeing daily operations team development and the client experience.

Located in Bostons historic North End our modern hospital will feature state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative team excited to build something exceptional together.

What to Expect

Salary: $70000 - $115000 per year determined by the candidates skills experience and qualifications. Eligibility for up to 15% performance-based annual bonus.

Schedule: This is a full-time position. The hospital will be open 7 days a week from 8:00 AM9:00 PM.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations with a primary focus on personnel management including hiring training and development.
• Manage Clinicoperations including scheduling and inventory management.
• Guideand coach colleagues toward continuous improvement maintaininga strong commitment to the client experience.
• Demonstrate initiativeinbalancingthe needs ofboththebusiness andthestaff.
• Collaborate closely with the Doctor co-owner on the hospitals growth potential set goals remove obstacles and build a hospital where great medicine and great business go hand in hand.
• Champion the client experience from first call to follow-up building loyalty and growing the practices reputation in the community.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is required.
• Comfortableworking part time on the floorbothinthe back and up front.
• Experience executingclinical HR functions includingSOPs evaluationsanddisciplinary action.
• Data-informed decision-maker who takes ownership
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize our practice management system
