Job Summary
North Boston Animal Hospital is opening in October 2026 and were looking for a full-time Practice Manager to help lead the launch of our brand-new general practice and urgent care hospital.
This is a unique opportunity to build a team shape the culture and establish the systems that will define the hospital from day one. Youll lead veterinarians technicians and support staff while overseeing daily operations team development and the client experience.
Located in Bostons historic North End our modern hospital will feature state-of-the-art equipment and a collaborative team excited to build something exceptional together.
What to Expect
Salary: $70000 - $115000 per year determined by the candidates skills experience and qualifications. Eligibility for up to 15% performance-based annual bonus.
Schedule: This is a full-time position. The hospital will be open 7 days a week from 8:00 AM9:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations with a primary focus on personnel management including hiring training and development.
- Manage Rye Harrison Veterinary Hospital operations including scheduling and inventory management.
- Guide and coach colleagues toward continuous improvement maintaining a strong commitment to the client experience.
- Demonstrate initiative in balancing the needs of both the business and the staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous management experience in a veterinary setting is required
- Experience executing clinical HR functions including SOPs evaluations and disciplinary action.
- Ability to quickly learn and utilize our practice management system.
