What Youll Do
As a Veterinary Assistant youll play an essential role in delivering outstanding patient care by:
- Assisting veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and medical procedures
- Safely restraining and handling canine and feline patients
- Preparing exam rooms and treatment areas
- Monitoring patient comfort and recording vital signs
- Administering medications and treatments as directed
- Collecting laboratory samples and assisting with diagnostics
- Supporting surgical and dental procedures
- Maintaining a clean organized and safe hospital environment
- Educating clients on preventive care and discharge instructions
- Collaborating with teammates to provide exceptional client service and patient care
Qualifications

- Previous veterinary assistant experience in a veterinary hospital
