Key Responsibilities

This position will be in office with the potential for a hybrid work schedule after a probationary period.

Day-to-day responsibilities of this position:

  • Answer phone calls for Vehicle Compliance Services call center
  • Respond to incoming questions or complaints via a shared email account; provide information and facilitate resolutions
  • Process payments in a point of sale system
  • Receive research and process incoming applications for Utah title
  • Verify documents for applicability completeness and accuracy
  • Research and enter impounded vehicle records
  • Approval and inspection of state impound yards
  • Assist impound yards and law enforcement in matters relating to towed vehicles
  • Conduct impounded vehicle auctions includes driving a state vehicle

Salary

Starting salary for this position is $19.68 hourly. We are unable to negotiate starting salaries.

Qualifications

Minimum or day-one qualifications:

  • Customer service experience
  • Professional written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Work in a team environment to meet established deadlines

Preferred or trainable/on-the-job qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the Utah Motor Vehicle system
