Vehicle Automotive Make Ready Manager

Job Purpose: Responsible for operational management of theMake Ready Departmentwith duties to include; organization quality control delegation of work productivity and profitability training scheduling and is responsible for ensuring that themake ready departmentoperates under safe conditions according to established policies and procedures and in compliance with federal and state regulations. Guide a team of high performance individuals who can follow the procedures and processes of the company. Excellent pay with growth opportunities within the organization.

Job Duties:

Make Ready Manager:

• in the effective daily operation of themake readydepartment
• in ensuring the satisfactory completion of details and other jobs performed on lot / customer units in a timely manner.
• to ensure availability of qualified and motivateddetailers and car washers to achieve quality standards customer service and profit objectives
• in ensuring satisfactory maintenance appearance and condition of assigned facilities to comply with security safety and environmental codes and ordinances
• in ensuring strict compliance with the service Code of Ethics and all municipal state and federal regulations and procedures pertaining to the operation of the service center.
• to ensure professional timely communication to all Managers
• in maintaining the overall appearance of the shop and all bays
• Assist in completing work in process to maintain work flow expectations

Skills/Qualifications

• Previous detailing experience with team leadersip or management
• Dealership work experience will enhance consideration
• Strong people management and leadership skills motivational supportive assertive and decisive
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong organization and time management skills
• Effective analytical and communication skills.

• Leadership quality.
• Ability to learn / demonstrate and train proper detail skills

Job Requirements

• Must have at least a high school diploma/GED
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
• All applicants must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks drug test credit report and valid driver license.
• Basic Computer skills
• Positive friendly attitude along with a customer service mentality
