Job Title: Tolling Solutions Architect (Hybrid)
Duration: 15 Months (Contract)
Location: Mechanicsville VA 23116

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Tolling Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level solutions. This role involves defining architecture collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring seamless system integration across on-premise hybrid and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop end-to-end application and solution architectures for business needs
• Lead requirements gathering documentation and technical estimation for enterprise applications
• Capture and define data flows workflows system interfaces and infrastructure environments
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Develop solution design artifacts including conceptual logical and physical designs data models and sequence diagrams
• Ensure seamless integration of new systems with existing applications and COTS solutions
• Conduct feasibility analysis and provide architectural recommendations
• Partner with enterprise architects and business teams to align solutions with organizational goals
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and strategic initiatives
• Design and implement enterprise security and technology patterns
• Provide architectural guidance for legacy system modernization

Required Qualifications:

• Experience with SAFe architecture and Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Proven expertise in enterprise and solution architecture design
• Strong experience integrating cross-functional systems across business units
• Experience in business and technical requirements analysis process modeling and data mapping
• Solid understanding of relational database design and management
• Exposure to project lifecycle methodologies and project-based work structures
• Knowledge of software quality assurance best practices
• Experience with XML constructs and schemas
• Strong understanding of API protocols such as SOAP and REST
• Ability to analyze end-user needs and align with business objectives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in tolling transportation or public sector environments
• Exposure to hybrid and cloud architectures

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
