What will you do

As aMarketplacePlanner - Footwear you will optimizeenterprise-level open to buy (OTB) strategies acrossthe Americas aligning financial plans with corporate objectives. You will collaborate with merchandising finance supply chain andglobalteams to drive planning transformation implementing new tools analytics and best practices forregionalefficiency. This is a hybrid role based in our office in Costa Mesa California.

Lets break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• OTB & Financial Ownership Owns and optimizes OTB strategy across key markets aligning financial plans with corporate objectives while maximizing profitability and minimizing excess stock.

• Executive-Level Influence & Process Improvement Partners with key functions like merchandising finance supply chain andglobalteams to drive business-wide planning transformation implementing new tools analytics and best practices to enhance efficiency across global operations.

• RegionalAssortment-Analytically support the formulation of theAmericasproduct assortment and the phases of product life cycle (preseason product line planning and in-season global trend analysis).

• Sales Analytics Supports reporting across VansAmericasmarkets contrasting top-down plans to consolidation of data from multiplecountries/channelsto track demand trends across DTC stores/ecommerce wholesale and franchise.
• Demand Planning Develops and maintains demand forecasts for key Vans product categories ensuring alignment with brand andglobalsales strategies. Topline attribute style/color level.
• Cross-Functional Market Alignment Works with regional merchandising finance and supply chain teamsto align assortment and sales strategies across different consumer segments factoring in key consumer moments pricing strategies and macroeconomicinfluences.

Additionally while formal education in a related field is great to have we are most interested in your 3-5 years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

• Planning experience in an Omni Multiple Retail Concept environment.

• Strong analytical and communication skillsincludingthe ability to read analyze and interpret retail reports.

• A proactive business management approach completing all assignments and job duties in a timely manner.

• Advanced computer skills including Excel and Word.
