**Position includes assisting Special Needs students**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Safe Transport: Drive assigned routes on time while obeying all traffic laws ad school board of company regulations.
• Passenger Assistance: Help passengers board and exit the vehicle including operating wheelchair lifts securing tie-downs and fastening specialized seat belts or car seats.
• Vehicle inspections: Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip safety checks of the vehicle equipment fluid levels and tires.
• Behavior & Safety Management: Maintain a calm environment monitor passenger safety and follow specific individual behavioy support or emergency protocols.
• Communication & Logs: Keep accurate daily mileage attendance and indcident logs; communicate clearly with parents school staff or transportation.

No CDL required.
