UX Engineer

We are seeking an experienced User Experience (UX) Engineer with expertise in Vuex/Pinia JavaScript (ES6) and Laravel (PHP) to build modern scalable and accessible web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing intuitive user experiences developing reusable UI components modernizing legacy systems and advocating UX best practices across teams. Experience with cloud platforms containerized environments and AI productivity tools is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop and maintain user-facing applications using Vuex/Pinia JavaScript (ES6) and Laravel (PHP).
• Create responsive accessible and high-performance web interfaces following HTML5 CSS3 and WCAG standards.
• Develop reusable frontend components and scalable application architectures.
• Modernize legacy applications by implementing contemporary frameworks and UX best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product owners UX designers developers and business stakeholders.
• Advocate user-centered design principles and promote UX best practices throughout the organization.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards performance and maintainability.
• Optimize application performance accessibility and user experience across devices and browsers.
• Work with cloud-native environments and deployment platforms including TKG and AWS.
• Leverage AI productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot Microsoft Copilot and other AI-assisted development tools.
• Troubleshoot debug and resolve frontend and backend application issues.
• Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Required Skills

Front-End Development

• 8 years of experience in web application development.
• Strong expertise in:
  • Vuex / Pinia
  • JavaScript (ES6)
  • HTML5
  • CSS3
• Experience building responsive and mobile-friendly web applications.
• Deep understanding of component-based architecture and state management.

Back-End Development

• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Laravel (PHP)
  • RESTful APIs
  • Web application architecture
  • Application integration

UX & Accessibility

• Strong knowledge of:
  • User Experience (UX) principles
  • User-centered design methodologies
  • Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG)
  • Site performance optimization
  • Usability best practices

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Experience with:
  • Tanzu Kubernetes Grid (TKG)
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Containerized application deployments
  • Cloud-native architectures

AI Productivity Tools

• Experience utilizing:
  • GitHub Copilot
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • AI-assisted software development best practices
