Utility worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Utility Worker to perform comprehensive cleaning and sanitation duties within the facility. This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in designated areasincluding locker rooms break rooms and areas surrounding plant equipmentwhile adhering to all state health and safety regulations and Quality Management System policies.

Candidates must have strong knowledge of cleaning practices the ability to be crosstrained in production areas and excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.

Schedule: Monday-Friday weekends on an as-needed basis 6:30 AM -5 PM

• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
• Sweep and maintain the cleanliness of plant floors.
• Clean pallets as assigned.
• Remove and dispose of trash.
• Maintain designated work areas inside and outside the facility.
• Complete assigned utility tasks and obtain required signoffs.
• Shower at the end of each shift before leaving the facility.

• Ability to wear a respirator for most of the shift.
• Strong taskprioritization skills.
• Ability to work in hot and cold environments.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as a utility worker.
• Ability to stand crouch and kneel for extended periods.
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment and proper cleaning techniques.
