Job Summary
Job Overview:The Utility Operator B performs a variety of general and skilled labor functions in support of packaging processing warehousing and plant schedule for this position will be Wednesday Thursday Friday and alternating Saturdays. Responsibilities:Performs packaging processing or warehousing duties such as:Reclaiming damaged pallets unloading and loading trucks assists with loading railcars placing dunnage etc. and/or;Assisting with changing screens cleaning elevators cleaning out pipes etc. and/ damaged pallets stacking bailing sewing equipment such as bobcat front-end loader sweeper forklift and road sweeper to move debris waste receptacles pallets and other materials on the plant general clean-up using manual equipment such as shovels brooms mops fire hoses and floor pre-operational equipment checks and monitors performance and gauges during all safety rules and all areas clean and free of :Education:Must meet assessment pass basic computer skills assessment. (Powders only)Must be able to read comprehend and act on product specifications SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) PWI (Process Work Instructions) AIQ processes and similar & Abilities:Must be able to effectively communicate with team leader shipping/receiving clerks scheduler supervisors customers drivers satisfy the spirit of WE be able to sit on required equipment throughout be able to lift 50 pounds reaching twisting stooping walking and climbing stairways and ladders sight and hearing to avoid be able to function in the required role while wearing appropriate PPE including but not limited to: Safety glasses hearing protection dust mask protective coveralls and pother as may be required by a hot/cold dusty loud industrial Rate: $20.07
