We are working with an established food production company based inFrederick MD.They are recruiting for aUtilities Mechanicto join their team during their 1st or 3rd shifts in return for a salary in the region of**$35 - $45 /hour**along with excellent employment benefits which include 401K Healthcare Vision and Dental PTO and Life Assurance.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Service and repair air compressors boilers HVAC water systems softeners and power utility equipment
• Operate and maintain industrial refrigeration systems (Ammonia & CO₂)
• Conduct daily rounds monitor temperatures and humidity and make minor adjustments
• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance on refrigeration compressors pumps fans heat exchangers glycol systems motors and power distribution systems
• Participate in process improvements system enhancements and work prioritization to minimize downtime
• Monitor boilers and air compressors; perform or schedule maintenance as needed
• Conduct water treatment testing and boiler efficiency checks
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience required:

• Holds an Ammonia Operator and willing to obtain a Boiler Operator certification (Grade 5).
• Able to handle and instructions on ammonia refrigerant system.
• Able to safely replace mechanical and electrical components including motors motor starters switches solenoids pumps refrigeration valves compressors and auxiliary refrigeration equipment.
• Able to read and interpret schematics and drawings to troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Experience in SAP preferred.
• Self-motivation with a strong drive for results; must be able to deliver objectives with only minimal supervision.
• Proven leadership ability; must serve as a role model in the areas of safety quality workplace conduct attendance etc. Effective verbal and written skills.
• Computer proficiency is required in Outlook Microsoft office including Word Excel and PowerPoint.
