Shottenkirk Nissan Katy is seeking a skilled Used Service Technician to join our team in Katy TX. The ideal candidate will have experience working with pre-owned vehicles ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and safety before reaching our customers. • Perform maintenance and repairs on used vehicles including diagnostics mechanical and electrical work.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify issues and ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with service advisors and other team members to provide timely service and communicate findings.
• Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Stay current with manufacturer service bulletins and automotive technology updates related to pre-owned vehicles.

• Proven experience as an automotive service technician with a focus on used vehicles preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow technical manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid automotive technician certification is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
