We are seeking a high-performing Used Car Lead Technician to play a critical role in our used vehicle reconditioning operations. This position combines hands-on production work with leadership responsibilitiesideal for a technician who wants to lead from the front mentor others and drive shop performance.

What Youll Do

• Work day-to-day in the used car shop performing diagnostics repairs and reconditioning work
• Lead by example to drive 100% efficiency and productivity within the used car technician team
• Train mentor and develop used car technicians to improve skill set quality and output
• Ensure all repairs are completed accurately efficiently and to dealership standards
• Complete and oversee repair orders documentation and warranty processes in a timely manner
• Inspect used vehicles and determine necessary repairs to meet safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with service advisors and management to communicate vehicle needs and status
• Help improve shop processes workflow and overall reconditioning performance
• Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment

What Youll Bring

• Proven experience as an automotive technician (used car/reconditioning experience preferred)
• Prior leadership mentoring or team lead experience strongly preferred
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills across multiple vehicle systems
• Ability to train coach and hold technicians accountable to performance expectations
• High attention to detail with strong documentation habits
• Team-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and quality
• Valid drivers license
• Technical training or certifications preferred
