USCG Licensed Boat Captains (Maritime Exercise Support)

Job Summary
Rigid Tactical is seeking four (4) Highly Qualified Boat Captains holding an active Secret Security Clearance to support upcoming maritime exercises. Candidates must hold a current USCG <100 gross registered tons license and be prepared to work closely with exercise coordinators troops and unmanned craft during the specified periods of performance in July and August 2026.
Preference will be given to candidates with Special Boat Team (SBT) or similar military maritime special operations experience.
Positions are split into two specific operational roles outlined below.

- Period of Performance: Seventeen (17) full days July 19 August 4 2026.
- Operational Scope: Piloting and operating motorboats as specified in the exercise guidelines.
- Period of Performance: Sixteen (16) full days July 20 August 4 2026.
- Operational Scope: Operating a center console boat as specified. This role works in direct support of providing maritime overwatch of unmanned surface craft.
- Daily Rate: $800.00 per day (paid for full operational days).
- Per Diem: Government-standard per diem provided for meals and incidental expenses.
- Travel & Expenditures: All approved project-related expenditures travel and lodging are 100% covered by the contractor.
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (Required).
- Valid USCG <100 GRT Captains License (Required).
- Prior Special Boat Team (SBT) experience Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC) background or equivalent military small-boat tactical operations experience is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience navigating via electronic and hard-copy charting.
- Strong communication and collaborative skills to interface with exercise coordinators and personnel.
- Full availability for the exact duration of the specified period of performance.
- Tactical Integration: Work effectively alongside tactical units and exercise coordinators in a dynamic training environment.
- Navigation: Prepared to navigate in accordance with USCG Rules and Regulations with the appropriate charts (hard copy and/or electronic) for the areas of operation.
- Collaboration: Required to work closely with the exercise coordinators and military/exercise troops.
- Operations: Capable of operating the motorboats and center console vessels safely under exercise conditions.
