Job Summary
This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced high-stakes environment. You will lead the US SIRT team in identifying managing and responding to security threats facing Apple. Together with your team youll continue to mature and evolve an incident response program built to protect Apple today and scale with the challenges of ideal candidate is a seasoned highly motivated leader who thrives on influence embraces accountability and is passionate about championing a strong security culture across the organization.
10 years of technical hands-on experience in Information Security with a strong focus on Incident ResponsenStrong cross-functional collaboration skills with a proven ability to lead and align multi-disciplinary teamsnExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate technical risk and business impact to partners across legal business and executive levelsnDeep expertise across Incident Response Compliance Threat Modeling Purple Teaming and Risk MitigationnExceptional analytical and investigative capabilities including hands-on experience leading root cause analysis effortsnSolid foundation in Computer Science principles with broad knowledge across computer networks systems and applicationsnB.S. in Computer Science Engineering equivalent degree or relevant work experiencenSIRT is an on-call team and this role will include night weekend early morning and holiday support
Hands-on experience leveraging AI and large language models (LLMs) to accelerate and automate incident response workflows including triage investigation and reportingnLeadership experience with demonstrated experience building scaling and leading high-performing information security teams
