Job Summary
The Special Operations Center (SOC) Asset Protection Senior Specialist (Level 03) is responsible for safeguarding company assets employees and brand reputation. This role involves real-time monitoring of security systems coordinating incident responses and analyzing global threats to ensure business continuity and operational resilience.
Shift: Must be flexible to work days nights and weekends
- Systems Management: Centrally manage and optimize the security tech stack including Access Control Video Management and threat monitoring tools across the global network.
- Emergency Response: Lead the response to emergency escalations by executing Emergency Action Plans (EAP) and maintaining rigorous safety and security standards.
- Operational Coverage & Agility: Maintain consistent coverage for your assigned shift. Provide back-up support for operational gaps as critically required by the business. Consistent attendance and punctuality are mandatory.
- Threat Detection: Proactively detect in-progress incidents and emerging threats using advanced surveillance technology; lead field escalations and provide high-level briefings to senior leadership.
- Investigative Analysis: Execute thorough investigations into security incidents and policy breaches; synthesize data from digital archives and access logs to produce comprehensive reports for management.
- Operational Ownership: Identify the root cause of system failures evaluate remediation paths and implement solutions to maintain 100% operational visibility and system uptime.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive operational excellence by identifying process inefficiencies and proactively proposing enhancements to procedures to elevate team performance.
- Crisis Support: Act as a force multiplier for site teams during incidents providing escalation support and guidance to senior leaders.
- Professionalism & Ethics: Champion a culture of ethical conduct safety and compliance while maintaining a customer-service mindset in high-pressure environments.
- Strategic Communication: Effectively listen build rapport and communicate at all levels; confidently share data-driven trends and innovative ideas with leadership.
- Complex Problem Solving: Recognize and resolve ambiguous or challenging situations focusing effort on exceeding goals and paving the way for operational efficiency.
- Additional Duties: Execute all other duties responsibilities and assignments as required by leadership to support the evolving objectives of the Special Operations Center.
- Age: Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Experience: 3 years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) 911 Command Center or Asset Protection/Loss Prevention environment.
- Schedule Flexibility: Demonstrated ability to manage a non-traditional or rotating schedule with a history of reliability during peak operational periods (holidays nights and weekends).
- Education: Associates degree in Criminal Justice Emergency Management or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Critical Thinking: Proven ability to resolve ambiguous or challenging situations under pressure while maintaining a focus on efficiency.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to brief executive leadership.
- Technical Literacy: High proficiency in Google Workspace (Gmail Drive Sheets etc.) and the ability to adapt to new security technologies.
- Operational Maturity: Maintains a mission-focused professional demeanor resolving challenges and interpersonal friction with an emphasis on operational goals rather than procedural technicalities.
