The US CE (TA) Product Training Learning Strategy Specialist this role is responsible for the creation and execution of a learning strategy and plan for a therapeutic area (TA). The role is responsible for designing product training for CFCs leading to improved execution of brand strategies and focus skill area ensuring that CFCs have the skills and knowledge required to successfully represent Pfizer in the marketplace. This role represents GCET and the Customer Engagement Product Training Delivery Team to the brand/TA leadership participates as a strategic partner thoroughly understands the complexity of the TA and CEP and translates that into defining developing and delivering training services to meet the needs of the business in support of in-role upskilling POAs critical market needs and other product business-related initiatives. Serving as the subject matter expert the role is expected to maintain up to date expertise on the therapy market and sales approaches associated with the assigned product/TA.
Role Responsibilities
The Therapeutic Area Learning Strategy Specialist Vaccines will:
Strategic Partnership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Serve as the primary representative of the Customer Engagement Training organization acting as a strategic partner to brand leadership to drive Vaccines BU and Brand strategic priorities.
- Foster strong relationships with Business Unit Partners collaborating closely with Leadership Marketing Medical Sales Regulatory and Legal teams to prioritize L&D needs and manage demands effectively.
- Engage with brand senior management to clarify brand imperatives set priorities for knowledge and skills interventions define desired learning outcomes and develop learning strategy.
Learning Strategy & Curriculum Development
- Define both short-term and long-term L&D priorities for sales team for Vaccines brands in collaboration with Vaccines business and brand leadership as well as other key stakeholders.
- Navigate the complexity of the Vaccines Business Unit including evolving market access landscape and unique market dynamics to develop learning materials to support Vaccines Product Training delivery.
- Spearhead the development of brand training programs in accordance with Vaccines business strategies Vaccines BU needs selling and coaching model constructs and pre-determined impact and outcome metrics.
- Strategize and develop learning journey and brand curriculum to address brand needs coordinating with Product Training Delivery team members for an integrated approach to content development and mastery.
Training Optimization
- Collaborate with Product Training Delivery and teammates and other relevant GCET stakeholders to determine suitable content for implementation in alignment with platform and brand strategies.
Business & Customer Acumen
- Act as TA integrated training expert for the current selling and coaching framework market and customer content disease state and treatments across the current and future product portfolio.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required with 10 years of experience in sales marketing and/or training.
- Previous marketing experience or relevant HQ experience.
- Ability to align knowledge with business priorities and execute strategies accordingly.
- Executive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of building partnership interacting with stakeholders at various levels and working collaboratively across functions to meet shared objectives.
- Outstanding presentation facilitation and writing skills.
- Project management experience and organizational abilities to simultaneously manage multiple complex projects
- People leadership experience direct or cross-functional including developing people to meet goals providing constructive feedback and employee motivation.
- Ability to understand the business environment and objectives and develop solutions accordingly.
- Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers develop and coach others oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Vaccines TA experience
- Work Location Assignment:Hybrid 2-3 days onsite/week NYHQ or Collegeville PA preferred (Pfizers Log in for Your Day Policy)
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
- Travel Requirements: Colleague may be remote but must be able to travel to NYHQ as needed
- Travel may be 25-50% (Marketing meetings live training events etc.)
