US-Based Human Transcriber

We are seeking detail-oriented Human Transcriber to accurately transcribe audio and video content into written text. This role is ideal for individuals with strong reading comprehension writing skills and attention to detail.

• Listen to audio and video recordings and create accurate written transcripts.
• Follow transcription guidelines and formatting standards.
• Review and edit transcripts for grammar spelling punctuation and consistency.
• Meet quality and productivity targets while maintaining accuracy.
• Conduct basic research when needed to verify names terminology or references.

Required:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.
• Degree in a reading- and writing-intensive field such as:

  • Sociology
  • International Relations
  • Other Liberal Arts disciplines
• Excellent written English skills including grammar spelling and punctuation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Reliable internet connection and computer.

Preferred:

• Prior transcription editing proofreading research or content review experience.
• Experience working with deadlines and quality standards.
