Urgent Care Physician

As an Urgent Care Physician (MD or DO) you will join the thriving Dignity Health Medical Group - Dominican playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient-centered care in our Capitola CA clinic.

You will provide comprehensive Urgent Care services to a diverse community focusing on lower acuity cases and a variety of acute illnesses and minor trauma. Youll benefit from a supportive environment that values innovation collaboration and personal well-being. Our clinic is open 7 days a week from 9am - 7pm.

To be successful in this role you will be a compassionate and skilled Urgent Care Physician seeking a fulfilling career with exceptional Save work-life balance and practice autonomy.

• Provide evaluation diagnosis and treatment of non-emergent acute illnesses and minor injuries for patients ages 3 months and older across the lifespan
• Perform and interpret diagnostic testing including labs EKGs and imaging
• Perform in-office procedures consistent with urgent care practice
• Collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Providers in a team-based care model
• Ensure timely referrals escalation of care and care coordination when needed
• Practice within a highly respected mission-driven organization

• Board-certified or Board-eligible MD or DO in Urgent Care Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine
• Active or eligible license in the state of California
• Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• Spanish proficiency is a plus
• Urgent care emergency medicine or ambulatory acute care experience
