Upper School Teaching Assistant Part Time (2026-27 School Year)

The Expedition School is seeking a part-time Upper School Support Person to work with a selection of grade 5-8 classrooms and Special area teachers and upper school students. This position will be administrative support to Upper School teachers materials support for special area teachers and supervision for upper school students during their computer based instruction classes. This position includes a variety of administrative tasks and student facing tasksand is suited for someone who loves variety and who is very organized. The upper school support person will perform tasks that may include but are not limited to:

• Photocopying
• Organizing learning materials
• Grading assignments and other student materials using answer keys
• Entering grades into Infinite Campus grade-book
• Supervising students during testing
• Supervising the transition of students to and from classes
• Supervising students during computer-based instruction classes
• Supervising a class in the event a teacher needs to step out
• Supervising students during lunch or recess
• Hanging up student artwork or bulletin boards

STUDENT DAYS M T W Th F 7:30am - 1:00 pm

Pay: $18/hr - $22.00 per hour depending on experience and capacity to take on the leadership role parts of the job.
