Upper School Substitute Teacher

Job Summary
Blakes Upper School in Minneapolis is seeking substitute teachers who can build strong rapport with adolescents and help guide their academic and social-emotional growth. A strong candidate also displays reliability a commitment to intercultural competence and strong written and verbal communication skills. Subs will be expected to adhere to lesson plans and present the absent teachers vision to students with fidelity and clarity.

Working Conditions:
Upper School substitute teachers will spend time sitting standing teaching and at times moving quickly from classroom to classroom. They will also be expected to use a computer and read typed documents.
Compensation:
The starting rate of pay for Upper School substitute teachers at Blake is $75 for a half day of work and $150 for a full day.
