Upper School History Teacher

Currey Ingram Academy is seeking a dynamic and experienced Upper School History Teacher to join our dedicated faculty for the school year. The ideal candidate is a passionate educator with a strong background in History and a commitment to helping students grow.

This full-time position includes teaching high school history which can include US History Government and Economics as well as elective courses. A successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for differentiating instruction engaging students and fostering a collaborative student-centered classroom addition candidates should be eager to work with colleagues to design and implement evidence-based instructional practices provide individualized academic and mentoring support and contribute to the broader school community through advisory extracurricular involvement and/or committee work.

• Bachelors or advanced degree in History Education or a related field.
• Preference given to candidates with prior teaching experience particularly at the high school level.
• Preference given to candidates with experience supporting students with learning differences.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
