Springside Chestnut Hill Academy is accepting applications for the following coaching positions for the spring 2027 season:

Baseball

Upper School Assistant Coach

Girls Lacrosse

Upper School Assistant Coach
Middle School Head Coach
Middle School Assistant Coach

Softball

Upper School JV Head Coach
Middle School Head Coach

Tennis

Upper School Assistant (Boys) Coach

Track
Middle School Assistant Coach

Position Purpose

The successful candidates will be coaches who are willing to develop our scholar-athletes while demonstrating strong character professionalism relational skills and who are positive role models appropriately utilizing the platform of their sport. The spring season begins in February and runs through May.

Essential Functions

• Organizes tryouts and all practices.
• Helps players understand the program objectives.
• Communicates clear expectations to the players and parents.
• Represents the school in a manner that exhibits and promotes SCHs mission.
• Develops positive productive relationships with the entire SCH community.
• Keeps accurate attendance records.
• Keeps the Athletic Director informed of problems and/or concerns.
• Other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or his designee.

Qualifications

• For Upper School coaching positions varsity high school playing experience is required and college playing experience preferred.
• Prior coaching experience is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Positive role model mentor and teacher of the sport.
• Must provide instruction to instill a strong work ethic responsibility teamwork sportsmanship self-discipline leadership and self-confidence in players.
• Must be able to deal with a diverse array of contacts.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Must be available for all practices and competitions during the coaching season.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs.
