Key Responsibilities

Are you an attorney looking for an opportunity to improve public education Are you interested in professional ethics and helping provide a safe classroom environment for Utah School children Consider applying to work with the Utah Professional Practices Advisory Commission where you work on the front lines to prevent misconduct by Utah educators.

Principal Duties

As a UPPAC attorney you will:

  • Investigate educator misconduct.
  • Prosecute educator misconduct in administrative proceedings.
  • Train Utah educators on Utahs educator standards and professionalism.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate

The Ideal Candidate is someone who:

  • Is a law school graduate.
  • Is licensed to practice law in the State of Utah.
  • Has experience teaching or working with K-12 school age students.
  • Is looking for a time-limited position of 18 months
